Jalandhar, Sept 28 (PTI) Criticising the relief package announced for Kashmir, All India Anti-Terrorist Front has demanded a special package for the security men and policemen, who are killed in the Valley during violence. "The government has already given packages worth billions of rupees to Kashmir.
Announcing package again and again gives a wrong message. This has only resulted in murders of Kashmiri Pandits, threats to Sikhs for religion conversion, migration of Kashmiri Pandits and secular Muslims," AIATF Chairman M S Bitta told PTI. The government should announce special package for the relatives of security men, who are killed, he said, adding this will be the "real tribute" to them.
He also demanded immediate withdrawal of the package announced by the Central government for Kashmir. "Why the government is not taking any action against Pakistan supported terrorists, separatists and stone throwers, why steps are being taken to release these people who have been arrested, when everything can be done for anti-national elements, why special package is not being announced who have laid down their lives for the country," he asked.
