National flag, song must be respected: Bitta

Mumbai, Nov 20 (PTI) All India Anti-Terrorist Front (AIATF) Chairman M S Bitta today said the national song and language must be respected at all cost.
"Some Muslim outfit has issued fatwa against reciting Vande Mataram, while some people are opposing Hindi language. Both national song and language are the pride of the nation and must be protected and respected," Bitta said. "There is also an urgent need to safeguard the country from terrorists," Bitta, who himself survived terrorist attacks at the height of Khalistan movement, said.
